Life, Interrupted

The time has come! If you've wanted to pass along to friends that the Nuala books are a lot of fun, here's the best time to do it. Would you like to help? If you've been planning to write up a 4 or 5 star review, and haven't gotten around to it, now's the time. The more the books have, the better it looks to people browsing for new books. I'm going to be tweeting about nice and interesting things people have to say about the books, so you will be tweeted to many should you produce a cool comment. (No names, of course -- I have this privacy thing for my friends and fans. People have to go read the reviews to figure out who said what!)

If you are totally intimidated by reviewing, or can't write less than 1000 words and don't have time, buzz by and click the clickies -- Amazon has "Liked" buttons now for books, as well as "tagging" farther on down the page. I think you need to have an account with them to tag, but I haven't confirmed that.

Oh -- for those of you who like your books DRM-free, I'll have a sale when the new Book View Cafe eBookstore goes live in December. I imagine that other BVC authors will also have sales at that time, so make a mental note to check starting December 1st, our hoped-for launch date.

More money from books means I can continue writing! Life is complicated right now -- my father is very ill -- so your passing along word of this sale however you can is greatly appreciated.

If you bought the Kindle version? Well, I hear things about the Kindle versions -- and since there's back matter in my book, and a working ToC would be a great thing, we're trying to fix the problem. It is not the first priority of the lovely person doing this, but when it's the way we'd like it to look, and I've uploaded it again? I'll post that here, so you can go get another copy of your Kindle file.

Because I want all the versions of the book to look good. It's why there is no version yet over at Smashwords, or Kobo. Because I'll need to learn how to do it myself, and this stuff takes time.

And Allie is talking to me, so learning conversion will cut into blogging, 'cus something has to give. I'm trying to make sure fiction isn't what gives!

And everybody I owe an answer to? You're not forgotten -- today just got busy. Maybe late tonight, or tomorrow morning.
