WritingThought of the Day:
Dec. 7th, 2010 05:04 pm“No one else in the wide world, since the dawn of time, has ever seen the world as you do, or can explain it as you can. This is what you have to offer that no one else can. Nobody can know how good you are unless you risk letting them know how bad you might be.”

Thought for the day.
I feel this a lot right now -- things that should be child's play for me are hard, and other things, well, it's as if I've been dropped into a culture with a language I don't speak. Everything is tantalizingly close to what I know, but I have to pay attention to nuance as much as I can.
So I am learning new things every day. And if I have enough energy, it keeps me young.
